Lawmate PV500 EVO

The PV500 EVO is the best video recorder for FPV use. It's controlled via touch screen and shipped in a rugged aluminum case.

Additional features include the one-touch RECORD slider, approximately 3 hours of recording time and zero complaints about recording through static. The small 2.4" screen can be used as an emergency backup if your goggles runs out of juice. The output file is in ASF format, which is compatible with the ImmersionRC Player for immediate Google Maps telemetry conversion and plane location in case something went wrong.

The Lawmate PV500 is the only video recorder that can record 720p video. While this is not needed for FPV use for now, it's the only recorder that's future proof so if we eventually are able to get our hands on that digital video transmission goodness, you won't need to buy another recorder.
